An optimized desktop player for your adventures in Lore.

The launcher opens SwordShine with Mugetsu, a modified Ruffle renderer with performance improvements. Your account, character and items are the same ones you use in the browser.

  1. Extract the whole ZIP. Keep AQWPlay.exe and its accompanying folders together.
  2. Open AQWPlay.exe and select Play. Log into SwordShine with your existing account.
  3. Choose the player that suits your PC. Mugetsu needs AVX2; the launcher uses Classic Ruffle on older CPUs. Browser play is also available in the launcher.

About this download

The .NET desktop runtime is included. The launcher also uses Microsoft Edge WebView2, included with current Windows installations. The optional Flash button requires your own Flash shell and PepperFlash installation.

Mugetsu and this launcher are unsigned Windows applications. Mugetsu is an independent Ruffle modification and is not endorsed by Artix Entertainment or the Ruffle project.
